CPIM Readiness Training Program Overview
APICS, the Association for Operations Management, in a strategic relationship with Accenture's Supply Chain Academy, is developing online courses that support the Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) review process.

The CPIM Exam Preparation modules cover the following topics:

• Basics of supply chain management
• Master planning of resources
• Detailed scheduling and planning
• Execution and control of operations
• Strategic management of resources.

For more than 26 years, the CPIM program has helped prepare individuals for higher degrees of responsibility within their organizations. The CPIM program provides the foundation for the recognition that they have achieved a standard of knowledge in production operations. How it Works
For each domain area, a comprehensive package of tools and techniques provides an indicator of individual's mastery of the content. This program consists of two major components:

1. Self-Assessment Courses:
   Take the Self-Assessment courses first to determine your proficiency and need for further study in each area of the domain.
2. Body of Knowledge Courses:
   As necessary, the Self-Assessment courses will dynamically refer you to the appropriate Body of Knowledge courses to increase your knowledge and prepare you for the BSCM exam.
